-    The Marketplace purchases goods in salvage and distressed markets, and prices them 25-50% below similar items in wholesale clubs and food stores for the purpose of stretching the dollars of low-income and disadvantaged people.

-    The Marketplace Manager, "Pastor C", is a trained pastor who frequently counsels employees and customers on family issues, financial issues and rehabilitation.

-    Employees include disadvantaged, low-income, physically handicapped, the formerly incarcerated, battered women, single mothers and the elderly.

-    Partners with the Delaware Autistic Program and trains 12-15  autistic people each week in cooperation with the Christina School District.

-    Donates food, bedding and clothing to another non-profit, “Helping the Homeless”, which each week uses the Marketplace donations to prepare two meals for 100-200 homeless people in center-city Wilmington, DE.

-    Donates clothing and bedding to the “Clothing Closet”, another non-profit distributing to the homeless and underprivileged in Cecil County, MD.

-    Has supported "The Net Ministries", an organization in Elkton dedicated in providing for the needs of the homeless.

-    Donates water, drinks, paper products, food, condiments, batteries, toys and raffle prizes to many other churches and charities, including the Upper Bay Counseling Center, Elkton Christian Academy, Delaware Hospice and others.

-    Helps the jobless by posting resumes on its website, and linking with people searching for quality employees
